 FMGE 2023 Marks Distribution & Exam Pattern

FMGE 2023 exam pattern has been designed by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). Knowing the exam pattern of FMGE 2023 will help candidates prepare for the examination better. FMGE exam pattern defines various parameters such as mode of the examination, duration, number of questions that will be asked in the paper, etc. Aspirants of FMGE 2023 are advised to keep in mind all these while appearing for the examination. Solving the mock tests using the guidelines prescribed in the exam pattern of FMGE 2023 will also yield better results


FMGE 2023: Scheme of the Examination

  • The examination will be conducted in an online mode
  • Medium of the examination will be English
  • Candidates will be evaluated on the basis of 300 multiple choice questions
  • All the questions in FMGE question paper will have equal weightage
  • One mark would be awarded for every correct answer
  • No marks will be awarded/ deducted for incorrect answers
  • The examination will be conducted in two phases – Part A and Part B
  • Candidate will be given 2 hours and 30 minutes to attempt each section
  • According to the exam pattern of FMGE 2023, a candidate needs to score at least 50% marks in the examination to qualify it


FMGE 2023 Exam Pattern: Subject-wise Distribution of Marks

As mentioned earlier, FMGE exam pattern 2023 suggests that the examination will be conducted in two sessions. The question paper for both these sections will comprise of different subjects. The first section of the FMGE 2023 exam will comprise of questions on pre-clinical and para-clinical subjects. The distribution of marks for each of these subjects is given in the table below.

The nerve network known as the brachial plexus gives the shoulder, arm, and hand movement and sensation.
